The Problem with Untreated Glass
The surface of glass is not completely smooth; under a microscope glass has a rough surface of peaks and potholes. Water, limescale and mineral salts can quickly build up in this uneven surface causing permanent staining and damage.
How Clean & Clear™ Works
Clean & Clear™ nano- molecules chemically fuse with the surface of glass and acts as a long lasting protective barrier. The hydrophobic or repellent properties stop lime scale and other residue from bonding to the glass. It is completely transparent, non-hazardous and unlike traditional coating applications, Clean & Clear™ will never discolour, peel or crack.
Kinder to the Environment
Typically Clean & Clear™ reduces the frequency of cleaning by half. Just like 'non-stick' cookware, the maintenance of Clean & Clear™ protected glass does not require harsh and abrasive cleaning chemicals which can be expensive and damaging to the environment.
Aftercare
Clean & Clean™ glass can be cleaned with any suitable nonabrasive glass cleaner - with PH value of between 3-11; the coating will not be damaged. Avoid surfactants and heavily perfumed products. Vinegar and water based products are very effective. Do not use abrasive scrubbing cleaners or equipment for cleaning.
Warranty
Limited 5 year Warranty for Clean & Clear™ Nano-Coating: To guarantee treated surfaces will remain more repellent than untreated glass for 5 years from start of use, as long as basic manufacturer maintenance recommendations are followed and no harsh or abrasive cleaners are used.
